The Little Dressing Co. [Prop Hire & Wedding Styling]

We accept all orders subject to the following Terms & Conditions (T&C’s).

These form part of the contract of hire. Prospective hirers should make themselves familiar with the T&C’s.

Where the word “hirer” appears, this refers to the person, company or other entity hiring the equipment. “Price list” refers to the menu of charges for equipment or services provided as published by LDC from time to time.

1.Hire

(a) Bookings are accepted for events up to 36 months in advance of the initial enquiry.

(b) In advance of preparing a quotation LDC may require a venue/event site overview with measured floor plans and photographs of all areas to be dressed. Vehicle access and any site-specific restrictions should be noted also.

(c) The hiring shall be deemed to continue until the LDC receives in their possession all equipment, or it is reported to the owner as missing or damaged.

(d) In the event of a heavy demand upon our stock, the owner reserves the right to substitute any item or items, with reference to the hirer prior.

(e) At the time of booking, all orders require a 25% non-refundable deposit of the total cost. The full remaining balance is then due 6 weeks prior to the hire date. (f) Your damage deposit is due prior to the point of collection or delivery. Any items hired, while in your care, shall remain your responsibility until returned to LDC. If an item is needing replaced, we will liaise with you to let you know the replacement charge within 14 working days. This will then be deducted from the damage deposit. If replacement costs come to more than your deposit, an invoice will be sent out stating the charges. If goods are returned and checked back with no loss or damage found, the full deposit will be refunded within 14 working days from when the items have been returned to LDC. Substitute items will not be accepted, and all damaged items remain the property of LDC and should therefore be returned.
